Let's Make Games presents: Show Us Your Bits! 2011
Our latest LMG event had game developers showcasing their babies in development or newly released to members of the game dev community as well as the general public.  This has been our biggest event yet but we are planning to make the future events even better and bigger so stay tuned! :)
Let's Make Games: Developer Talks
Aranda Morrison from Gnomic Studios spoke about developing Square Off! for Xbox Live Indie Games (XBLIG) Marketplace. He presented a lot of great information for XBLIG developers wondering how to market their games (eg. timing is vital!)
Saxon Druce from Binary Space spoke about development of Class 3 Outbreak, a web-based flash game featuring zombies and Google Maps. He candidly touched upon a range of topics including: getting Dugg; last-minute server reconfiguration; approaches to making money from a free game; and player attention spans
